Prizes: Consecutive Chai awards winner and MVP basketball award. Accepted into Secondary IV Student Life and Leadership Committee.
I was so proud of my time at Talmud Torah. Our class showed incredible determination and dedication — I felt it was truly something special.
Awards: Grade 6 Valedictorian, SLAM Gold Award, Best Individual Junior Speaker in Debate Tournament, Bible Contest participant, 1st place in the annual Spelling Bee
I feel that Talmud Torah is an embodiment of freedom: the freedom to learn, to explore the unknown and to be curious; the freedom to be creative, to grow, to flourish. Talmud Torah lets kids be kids and celebrates them for it. When a kid dreams about flying, Talmud Torah gives them wings so they can.
Achievements: First place winner at International Ravsak Moot Beit Din Competition, recipient of over $2000 in cash prizes combined for scientific achievements at the school-wide, regional, provincial and national level (Canadian-Wide National Science Fair), recipient of an entrance scholarship to Western University and student researcher at the Sonenberg Laboratory at the McGill Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Research Center for two consecutive years (and counting).
At Talmud Torah, I was motivated to achieve my full potential, inspired to look higher and given the skills and tools to achieve my dreams.
