Steve was born and raised in Montreal and is a proud Jewish Quebecer and Canadian that has always felt that this city, and country, had everything, potholes and taxes omitted, to be the best place in the world to juggle a successful career with a great quality of life and offer a wonderful opportunity to raise a Jewish family. Steve is married to Sonia and they have 2 beautiful girls Mikah and Emily aged 6 and 5. Mikah goes to UTT and her younger sister will follow her this year, as is the case with everything she does!
Steve is a partner in private wealth management boutique called Pavilion Investment House and acts like a family’s quarterback, providing them with peace of mind and helping them achieve their financial and lifestyle objectives.
Steve started volunteering through Hillel. Over the last 7-8 years, he has spent most of his charitable time in various roles at Federation CJA where he now sits on the board of directors. Steve is the president of GenMtl, the department of FCJA geared to the 18-41 cohort. Steve is the founding co-chair of FIX, a program aimed at supporting young people in the Jewish community dealing with a spectrum of challenges and issues, especially addiction.
Steve is a member of the Wexner Heritage Program, a North American leadership group that wishes to expand the vision of Jewish volunteer leaders, deepen their Jewish knowledge and confidence and inspire them to exercise transformative leadership in the Jewish community.
Steve’s favorite movie has always been and will always be Gladiator for what it means in terms of leadership, conviction and courage.
