Over one hundred and twenty years ago Leaders in our Montreal community, newcomers and immigrants had a dream. In their mind’s eye they saw a thriving Jewish Day School where their children and their children’s children would learn about their roots, their heritage and their culture. They dreamed of a school that would offer an outstanding education, one that would prepare generations of students to go forward with strong Jewish values and excellent academic skills….and they made it happen.

Over one hundred and twenty years ago those Leaders founded our school,ensuring a vibrant tomorrow for our community and a strong Jewish foundation for their children and thus generations of proud highly educated Jews continued their legacy.

One hundred and twenty years later, the torch has been passed to us. It falls to us to continue and strengthen their dream, ensuring a thriving education system for the next generation of Leaders.

It gives us great pleasure to announce to you that we are ready to do our part. We have become a partner in the Harold Grinspoon Life & Legacy program, in collaboration with Federation CJA designed to support us as we work to build endowments that will help sustain and strengthen our school in the years to come.
