Harvard University, PhD Applied Physics
My time at Herzliah was very special to me – I really enjoyed my high school classes. The teachers and curriculum prepared me for the tough academic programs at CEGEP and University. I was able accepted into Harvard University and am proud to say that I recently received my PhD in Applied Physics. Most important, while at Herzliah, I met my wife on a school trip.

Actuariat

McGill University, Masters in Public Health
Key to education at Herzliah was the importance of strong Jewish values. I was encouraged, not only to appreciate them, but also to integrate them into everyday life. I was the first Canadian to travel to Gondar Ethiopia as part of a Tikkum Olam project, initiated by the Jewish Agency. I spent my summer working at a local community clinic. I am currently completing a Master Degree in Public Health at McGill University. My goal is to help the vulnerable population gain access to medical care.

“My time at Herz was defining. Both academically and in terms of my Jewish identity. The academic standard prepared me well for Marianopolis and McGill. The Hebrew studies laid the foundation for a love of Israel and fluency in Hebrew which eventually led me to move to Israel, start my career in High Tech and live in Tel Aviv for 7 years. I always found it fortuitous that my offices were in Hertzliya Pituach. I am forever grateful to my teachers and mentors from Herzliah.
