Jewish Studies

At Herzliah our Jewish studies curriculum is a pillar upon which the school stands. We impart to our students, a love of Israel, the values of the written and oral Torah, Jewish history, and Hebrew language and literature. Our world class, dedicated Judaic Studies staff teach students about their past, celebrate the present and prepare them to take their places as the Jewish leaders of the future. Jewish traditions, customs and values are a part of who we are and are integrated into all that we do.

Both our widely acclaimed trademark Ivrit b’ivrit program and our Judaica Program incorporate hands on experiential learning. Shabbatonim, dynamic guest speakers, field trips, “lunch and learn” programming and relationship building with our sister schools in Beer Sheba integrate classroom theory with personal experience.

Our contemporary program teaches our students about our heritage, traditions and customs, fostering a love of Torah and a strong connection to the State of Israel. A wide range of Jewish experiential programs is offered that encourage personal growth and acquisition of Jewish values in a structured and fun educational environment.
