Social-Emotional Support

Counseling Services

Students facing stress or more serious concerns can access our Counseling Services for individual or group sessions. We provide a safe space for students to express themselves, build resilience, and find solutions to their challenges.

Social Skills Programs

Our Social Skills Programs focus on teaching and reinforcing positive behaviors. Students learn how to build friendships, work well with others, and contribute positively to our school community.

Conflict Resolution

Conflicts happen, but learning how to resolve them effectively is a valuable skill. Our Conflict Resolution services We equip students with the tools to resolve conflicts constructively. By focusing on understanding and cooperation, we help create a more peaceful and collaborative environment.

Parent Communication

We believe in the power of teamwork, which is why we keep parents in the loop about their child’s progress. Regular communication ensures that parents are informed about their child’s social-emotional development, and together we can support their growth.

Mental Health Services

Counseling and Coaching

Mental health matters, and our Counseling and Coaching services are here to help. We offer individual and group sessions to support students dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and more. Our goal is to help students develop coping skills and maintain a healthy mindset as they navigate the ups and downs of high school life.

Crisis Intervention

When immediate support is needed, our Crisis Intervention services are there to ensure students' safety and well-being.

Peer Support Programs

Sometimes, the best support comes from peers. Our Peer Support Programs train students to mentor and counsel their classmates, building a community where everyone feels supported and understood. These programs also give students the chance to develop leadership skills and make a positive impact on their peers

Behavioral Support

Positive Behavior Interventions

Creating a positive school culture is something we take seriously at Herzliah. Our Positive Behavior Interventions include school-wide programs that encourage and reward good behavior. Conflict Resolution and Mediation

Our Conflict Resolution and Mediation services are all about helping students resolve disputes in a healthy way. We teach students the importance of understanding and communication, helping them build trust and respect with their peers.

Substance Abuse Education and Prevention

Knowledge is power when it comes to making healthy choices. Our Substance Abuse Education and Prevention program offers students the information and support they need to make informed decisions. We focus on prevention, awareness, and providing help to those who need it.

Guidance Counseling for Seniors

As seniors get ready to move on to the next stage of their lives, we’re here to help them make the best choices. Our Guidance Counseling services offer personalized support for CEGEP applications and career planning. We work with students one-on-one to help them identify their strengths, explore career options, and choose the right path. Whether it’s crafting a strong application or preparing for interviews, we’re here to make sure students are ready for whatever comes next.
