Mathematics at Herzliah

At Herzliah, we take pride in offering a rigorous and enhanced mathematics program tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. Our curriculum not only meets the ministry’s standards but also goes beyond, providing specialized support for first-cycle students needing additional assistance with foundational math skills.

Our approach ensures that students build a solid foundation, equipping them for success in higher levels of mathematics. Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to participate in our Math Club, as well as local, national, and international math competitions. Notable contests include the Pascal Math Contest and the Kangaroo Canada International Competition, which offer students valuable opportunities to apply their knowledge.

Success in Mathematics Competitions

Each year, our students achieve remarkable success in various prestigious math competitions. Second and third-cycle students excel in the Pascal Contest, consistently placing among the top 25% of participants worldwide. Recent achievements include:

- Silver Medal: in the Kangaroo Canada International Competition.
- First place: in the Montreal Region at the Waterloo Math Contest.
- Third place: in the Government Math Exam for Secondary 4 students.

These accomplishments reflect Herzliah’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and innovation in education.
